Well, for some reason I was thinking about people having a bad day.  Don't even ask why, I have no sweet clue.  Anyways, lets go!  Things to do when you're having a bad day (your stupidity is in your own hands.) 

1.  Laugh.  No matter what, if you're having a bad day and you just start laughing, it'll cheer you up for a bit.  Yes, I know, you don't always have something to laugh at so just start laughing.  If that made you laugh, there you go. :) Remember, laughing is the best medicine.

2.  Look at a picture of something cute.  Whatever it is, if you think it's cute, it's bound to make you smile :) .  Honest to God, if it's a worm that you think is cute (I don't think they are.  But everyone is different you know)  look at it.  Hm, did that make you laugh?  Well if it did bonus.

3.  Talk to someone funny.  That's easy enough.  Funny people everywhere :D .  Seriously, if my sister is mad at me and I tell her something that she would normally smile at but since shes angry she won't, all I have to say is; I see a little smile forming in the corners of your lips!!       Works. Every. Time. 

4.  Eat cookies.  Nuff' said.  Cookies make me smile.


5.  Spend time on yourself.  Put on make-up, nail polish etc. that you'd never wear anywhere.  Make yourself look crazy.  Yeah, that'll probably have you laughing.  (K, this isn't meant for guys, but if you want; go for it.)

And last but not least.

6.  Think of how good you have it.  That you have a place to sleep, food to eat, family, friends etc.  Most likely you won't be alone on Christmas.  No one should be, but guess what?  Sad as it is, some people are..think of that.  No, it won't make you smile, but it'll maybe put you in the right mind that no.  Things could be worse, life isn't that horrible and I have it pretty darn good in life.

I know no one is perfect and you can't always be happy, I know I'm not.  Just try and make the best of things which isn't ALWAYS possible, but if it is please do.  Sm:)e.  That is all. <3

CHRISTMAS VACATION!!!

YES! It's here already <3 .  We made it :)!  Not going to be at school again until 2012!  SO PUMPED! Can you tell?? :D Eep! HEHEHEHEHE...Okay,okay, enough of that.

Semi-Formal last night...=AMAZING NIGHT!  BEST DANCE EVER. <3 :) For multiple reasons.  But that's all I'm telling you.  (OH & I'll add a couple pictures of me and the girls).

I'M SO FREAKIN' HAPPY THAT IT'S CHRISTMAS VACATION!! It's actually unreal.  I can't wait to do dog training, big long walks in the woods and at the golf course, skiing, skating, being with family, ETCETCETC!

Falling Behind

I'm being a bad blogger.  Two weeks and I haven't written anything.  At all.  But now I am, so for whoever reads this, YAY!

Nothing special has happened the past two weekends.. yesterday we got out the Christmas lights and we're going to get our tree sometime this week.  :) That is exciting!!  ALSO, this weekend is a disc dog trial, here in Truro (Bible Hill).  It will be at the Agridome :):) (Where we have agility trials and people rent it for other purposes as well).

I'm really excited about that...actually, a lot of exciting this are happening this week!  (I know, over using the word exciting, owell). To name a few --> School is done for Christmas break, we're having our semi-formal dance at school on Thursday, and then Saturday is my dad's birthday (LOVE YOU DAD <3) and then the trial!  Whoohoo! <3

Know what else, ? No?  Hmm, I don't really know either.  Yep, this is a short one!  Maybe I'll add some pictures to fill it out :) .  Everyone likes pictures!


Well, I guess I'll go play some recallers games with the dogs. (Yea, I forgot we're doing the recallers course by Susan Garrett! Yay for dogs coming back!!)

Blast to the Past...Ish :)

Aw gee, did the weekend ever go by fast!  It was a nice one, however.  Relaxing and chilled for a change.  Atta be :) .

On Saturday, we headed out to Wentworth to the ski swap, and got our season passes :) . Jessica brought Blurr along for some socialization. It was nice to be back at my favorite winter place!  On our way back, we stopped at Masstown Market and got ice-cream and frozen yogurts <3 .  I got strawberry frozen yogurt, it's  one of the yummiest things ever.  Just sayin' .  (Actually, it's the same stuff they had up in Ontario when we were there for Nationals :) ). Go try some, I dare you!  :P


After we were home for a while, and I took Storm out to play, Jessica and I went up to my grandmothers house to help her wrap some presents for our cousins.  :) It was really nice to spend time there!  We we're up in the attic too, so we hauled out some old dresses and were trying them on :):):)!  Just so you know, that's a lot, a lot of fun! <3  We got back home around 11:00, hahah.


Today, we didn't do much either.  I took Storm out for a good ol' session of disc and he caught everything.  EVERY-THING! Yes, a good disc dog he is! :) <3 He brought them back quickly too, without chewing!  Score!


Today, Jessica and I walked back up to Nan's house and tried on some more clothess.  Then, she took us to Tim Hortons for a treat and drove us back home :) .  Love her! <3


I had to wash Storm off when I got home because he was muddy after our session of disc!  He seriously looks like a completely different dog.  No lie.  :P  Now I'm going to do some crate games!  That will be fun...Meeka loves the fact that she gets to eat.

Well, I went to school today.  Then it started snowing.  School got cancelled after lunch but I left at lunch :)!  Lucky me!  :D I get to play with the dogs, blog and clean up :) .. wait the clean up part is :( *

Slick & Quick

So, last Saturday we were at the disc dog trial in Norton, NB!  Let me put it quick; IT WAS AWESOME! (Minus the getting up at 4:00am)  Anyhow, yeah it was so fun!  Storm got a placement ribbon in every event competing against 23 dogs!  Like a Boss ;) hahah.

There were two trials in the one day. In each trial (for us) there was Novice Single Disc (Round one and two) and the 'fun' event Disc off (didn't count for anything, but still lots of fun!)  In his first round of single disc, he got  11 pts 2/4 catches and his second round he got 23 pts 4/4 catches for a total of  34 pts and a Q! :)  Good boy! (Not to mention my nice throws, lol .)  Then there was Disc Off 2 minute round, he got 9/10 catches!! Mean ol' Andre had to come beat us with Mr. Crash though :( . Haah, jk, it's okay Andre .... ish .  We tied with Whiplash and had to do "Sudden Death" whoever didn't catch, we won that so we got second! :)

In the second trial, we didn't do AS well in Single disc and didn't Q but still got 3/4 catches the first round and the second round... :S 1/3 eek! owell, baby dog :) .  Total of 19 pts anyways.... The second disc off wasn't as good as the first either but still caught lots....he was tired okay :P .  Can't remember the exact score but; hey, I remember'd this much.

Ribbon and Placements:
4th and a Q in Trial 1 Novice Single Disc,  2nd in Trial 1 Disc off, 10th in Trial 2 Novice Single Disc and 9th in Trial 2 Disc off!  Not too shabby at all! :)  So much improvement from last year!! I am one proud momma <3 :)

♥ Meet Meeka ♥

Cutie <3

This is our oldest dog, Meeka.  :) <3  We got her in 2007 from our local S.P.C.A .  We think she is a lab/border collie cross...usually we just say 'All Canadian' .  She's a really good little girl.  And she's in the Little Moe's Paws for Fun show.  She loves performing in that!!!


She also competes in dog agility trials (usually in Truro, Dartmouth and New Brunswick) and this year, I was lucky to get the opportunity to take her to Dog Agility Nationals in Oro, Ontario . :) That was an amazing experience for us all, especially since we really only started 2 years ago! (Andre Landry and Ace came along with us too. My dad drove. :P ) It was a really great trip and I hope we get the opportunity to do it all again! 


OH! I forgot!! Oopsie :P .  Just a while ago, The Atlantic Terrier Association put on a CKC (Canadian Kennel Club) Rally O trial at The Paws for Fun Canine Center.  Usually, the CKC doesn't allow mixed breed dogs in their trials but this was their first time!  Meeka was THE FIRST  mixed breed dog to ever get a CKC Q!!! How cool is that ?!!?!??!!!!  Then, in the second trial of the day she got ANOTHER! Yay Meeka!  I know, she rocks :) <3 .

New Things

Well, I like trying new things every once in a while so I thought I might as well make a blog. :) Not really sure if it'll ever get read but whatever.  Everything's worth a shot, eh?!

I'm happy it's Friday.  Tonight we're going to agility class at H.E.A.T which will be nice.  Practice some agility, probably throw some disc's too. AND!, Talk to everyone we haven't seen in what feels like forever!  SO MUCH FUN!

There's a disc dog competition in Norton, N.B this Saturday. :)  We're going to head down tomorrow morning bright and early!  At least we FINALLY got our RPT (Retrieval Proficiency Test, first title you need to collect points, place and Qualify) so we won't have to hope for that ever again!  Big relief actually....it took Storm eight tries and he finally got it on his ninth.  Even though two of them we're so freakin' close!  HE HAS IT NOW SO NO MORE COMPLAINING!  Well, except that we can't go in the Santa Claus Parade with Paws For Fun because of it...next time, I hope!
